Full scale show gardens provide an opportunity for a designer to really express their creativity – often adding lighting to give the garden an extra dimension in the twilight hours and beyond. Njo were very involved in the supply of “engineering materials” to interface the lighting into the garden – providing much more than just the LED units themselves. Standard FLX110/FLX140 flood/spot lights in white & green used for tree and foliage uplighting. Resin-filled colour change “KLS” units were built underneath a 20mm acrylic bridge. Finally, njo made large edge lit acrylic/stainless steel “blade” features for installation within the main water feature – again these utilised resin-filled “KLS” units. All of the LED lighting (installed by njo) was wired back to a water-resistant control unit, driven by an njo “ColourZone” DMX512 controller.
